Ambience Conservatory Glass at Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace commissioned The Little Conservatory Company for a replacement and upgrade of their existing pool conservatory, introducing a modern, high-performance aluminium structure and Ambience Collection glazing.

To enhance thermal efficiency and reduce maintenance requirements, the roof was glazed with the TuffX Ambi-Blue self-cleaning, low-E argon-filled glass, which provides both solar control and aesthetic clarity.

The vertical frame glazing utilised TuffX Ambi-Neutral self-cleaning, low-E argon glass, selected to deliver balanced light transmission and energy performance while maintaining visual harmony with the roof glazing.

infinity rooflight install for Skill Builder

Infinity provided the three framed fixed rooflights, free of charge, to Skill Builder to replace some old plastic skylights in a large wedding shop renovation.

The team demonstrate how quickly the Infinity rooflights can be installed and fixed, once the 5 degree pitched up-stand is completed.

TUFFX: WHEN SPECIALIST GLASS SOLUTIONS ARE NEEDED FAST

Toughened glass specialist TuffX recently supplied its quality safety glass, in a variety of bespoke sizes, towards the construction of a new apartment block in High Wycombe.

TuffX’s customer had been briefed to design and install an internal glass and stainless steel balustrade for the communal staircase of the building, but as is often the case, time was tight. The handover date was due and top-end safety glass was needed with a quick lead-time to complete the project.

STAYING SAFE, LOOKING GREAT WITH TUFFX

An elegant building requires an equally elegant safety glass solution – which is exactly what toughened glass specialists TuffX recently supplied to a residential complex in Scotland.

The client required fifteen Juliet balconies to provide both unobstructed views and unrivalled safety from multiple storeys of windows. TuffX supplied 17.5mm toughened clear glass in varying sizes, with a perfectly aligned finish and brilliant polished edge, to fulfil the brief.

BRIXTON BALCONIES

Situated in the centre of Brixton, Lambeth, and standing fourteen storeys high is Hambrook House; a brand new mixed-use development comprising of 94 residential units, plus ground and roof level community spaces. Part of an extensive redevelopment of Lambeth Town Hall, the building enjoys views over nearby St Matthews Garden to the east, enhanced further by a series of laminated glass balconies provided by industry specialist TuffX.

Edinburgh Zoo Tiger Exhibit

TuffX supplied 35.5mm toughened laminate glass to Edinburgh Zoo. The Zoo decided to create a Tiger Exhibit in which spectators would be able to walk through the Tigers den via a glass tunnel. This would give them a ‘live’ experience to be able to view the Tigers in their home and natural surroundings.

Specialist toughened safety glass manufacturer TuffX have most recently given an old High School in Rhyl a revamp. A more modern vibe was given to the schools floors by creating glass balconies to act as hall ways for the staff and students. The school no longer needs to be closed off when walking through the main entrance so looks and feels more contemporary and welcoming.
