Sand Blasted Glass
Sandblasting provides a translucent finish that can be utilised in many applications. Fine sand is “blasted” onto the glass which roughens the surface and provides a level of privacy when looking through the glass panel.
Sandblasted Glass is a great way to hide unsightly steelworks and can also be used on walk on floors to provide anti-slip properties. Tuffx can sandblast full panels, part panels and borders.
Sand blasting is also particularly useful in providing a privacy finish on thicker glass panels were a satin finish cannot be produced for example in 19mm single.
