Despite its compact size, our 400 x 400 rooflights offer reliable thermal insulation and efficient lighting, making any room feel more expansive and airy. Designed from 6 mm double-glazed, toughened safety glass, our rooflights are argon gas-filled for improved heat retention. 

UV glazing helps to prevent distracting glares and protects your furniture from fading. The glazing has a U-value of 1.2 W/m²K and is fully compliant with BS EN 1279 standards. All of our 400 x 400 skylights include a dark grey frame with a durable thermal break, providing consistent indoor temperatures by minimising heat loss and draughts. 

It’s also highly resistant against harsh winds, leaks, and heavy forces, keeping your property safe throughout every season.

• Glass Types: The framed skylights come in a range of different sizes and colours (Clear, Solar Clear, Solar Grey, Solar Blue or Satin Privacy) with double glazed toughened safety glass as standard and triple glazing as an option.
• Frame Colours: Standard frame colours are anthracite grey 7016 or black 9005, any other RAL colour is an extra £100 approx. bespoke frame colour increases the lead time 2 weeks.
• Upstand Pitch Required for Framed Rooflights. The pitch for a framed rooflight upstand should be a minimum of 5 degrees to allow water to run-off the surface.
• Roof Pitch for Fixed Framed Rooflights. Framed rooflights are designed and tested for flat or very low pitched roofs only.
