New side glazing for complete conservatory comfort.
TuffX has launched a new side glazing product called Ambi-Clarity to complement our range of high-performance Ambience conservatory glass products. Now you can order all your conservatory glass from TuffX; a complete conservatory glazing package that significantly reduces the issue of seasonal temperature fluctuations for home owners.
Our Ambience high-performance conservatory roof glass is very efficient at controlling the temperature inside conservatories and glazed extensions. However, it cannot stop heat escaping or building up through the glazed panels at the sides of conservatories, which are usually fitted with lower-specification glass.
To solve this problem, we have created Ambi-Clarity, which is made with high performance glass and is designed to be used with Ambience roof panels to create a more comprehensive, thermally-efficient envelope around a glazed extension.
Like all of our other Ambience Conservatory Collection products, Ambi-Clarity offers high-performance solar control. It has a subtle tint, which is hardly noticeable to the naked eye, and reduces light transmission into the building to 70%. It also offers 63% solar heat reflection. Together, these two key features prevent glazed living spaces from overheating in the summer.
To reduce temperature extremes in winter, Ambi-Clarity has a U-Value of 1.0 W/m²K, which means there is minimal heat loss. When combined with Ambience roof glass, most of which also have a U-value of around 1.0 W/m²K, conservatories are much easier to heat and keep warm, making them more comfortable to use in colder weather.
Ambi-Clarity can be made with either 4mm or 6mm thick toughened safety glass, and can also be made with self cleaning glass as an optional extra.
