While their newly built home was lovely, they found that the space didn’t quite meet their needs for a bright and airy living area that connected them to their garden. They envisioned an extension that would seamlessly link their kitchen and lounge, creating the perfect space for relaxation and entertaining guests.

Whilst the client did want a space with more natural light compared to other rooms in the house they did have initial concerns about a glass roof extension being ‘too hot or too cold’. That’s where Ambience came into its own!

The Brief
At Hallmark Glazed Extensions Ltd, they take pride in understanding our clients’ needs and translating them into reality. For this project, they proposed a contemporary uPVC style conservatory that would transform the home and worked closely with the client to design a space that was both stylish and functional.

The final design featured sleek Anthracite Grey uPVC frames, which complemented the home’s modern aesthetic. We added a Curved Cornice Orangery Fascia for an elegant, contemporary touch. The Living Room style roof allowed for maximum natural light while maintaining a cosy indoor feel, making the space perfect for year-round use. To ensure comfort in all seasons, we installed high-spec Ambience solar control glass, which reduces heat in the summer while retaining warmth in the winter.

The Result
The result is a modern conservatory that not only meets the client’s needs but exceeds their expectations. The new space seamlessly connects the kitchen and lounge area, flooding the home with natural light and providing an inviting space to relax and enjoy views of the garden.
